Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur...

So, since my friend Sandy is always singing "Soft Kitty, Warm Kitty" I was inspired to make a Katamari themed tribute:

Pardon the blatant plug, but baby's gotta eat, you know! So I therefore present this Scottish Fold design I did in an attempt to create a "I love my cat" type shirt that I wouldn't be embarrassed to wear in public.  It's available on all sorts of products at my cafepress store!

Spaaaaaace cat? or Fuuuuuture cat?

As we gear up for Halloween, I've been trying to find any costume pics I haven't posted (and for ones I have, there is now a handy "Katamari in Costumes" category link over there --->)

This was the hat to a champagne bottle costume I wore one new year's, that I decided to test on Katamari, although I'm not sure what she is, really.  From space? From the future? Ghetto Iron man? Robo-cat?  I guess there wasn't a lot of effort put into this one.  I'll try harder next time.

 

 

Halloween is coming!

This is one of my favorite times of year for mostly one reason:  PETS IN COSTUMES!!! I was glad to see that Katamari made the recent Buzzfeed animals in costumes post, although in her spider-cat get up this time.

Still, the one thing possibly better than pets in costumes is people costumed as my pet... in a costume! Once you've wrapped your head around the postmodernity of that, feast your eyes upon these pictures of Melissa Stark of Seattle dressed as Katamari dressed as a lobster:

So I entered this delightful pic of Katamari in a shark costume in a pet costume contest on facebook.  Winner gets $10,000 (and that buys a lot of hilarious pet costumes so if I win WE ALL WIN!)  VOTE VOTE VOTE!

My inbred cat is now an in-bread cat. In which I join the cat breading trend.

Since I consider cat breading to be one of the funniest things the internet ever invented, I decided to bread my cat.  Hilarity ensues!  She was not pleased.
