Katamari and Jee
So this is our friend Jee. Jee lives in Manhattan and we live in Brooklyn. The stereotype of New Yorkers is that people who live in Brooklyn go to Manhattan all the time, but people from Manhattan never go to Brooklyn...that the whole reason they pay so much to live in Manhattan is so they never have to leave. Jee totally has lived up to this stereotype. For years any suggestion of "why don't you come out to Brooklyn!" has been met with a sarcastic "Yeah, right!" Since we moved into our new place and have a deck and a barbecue grill and a view of Manhattan, we've been able to get her over more often, but now that we have Katamari, WE HAVE BROKEN HER! Manhattanites are powerless against the lure of her Brooklyn cuteness!
So yet another awesome thing about Katamari is how friendly she is. She is never afraid of new people and, in fact, loves attention from everyone. Unlike many cats I've known, she doesn't mind being held at all, so people will scoop her right up and she'll go limp and sleepy in their arms.
