A Sad Kitty product in Hot Topic...FINALLY!

So when I debuted Sad Kitty four years ago, I thought "this is a shoo-in for Hot Topic" and then watched in surprise as Hot Topic shot down every Sad Kitty product it was pitched. Still, I believed in Sad Kitty and never wanted to accept that it might be a dud of an idea. I even proved myself semi-right when I started producing my own Sad Kitty shirts and watched them remain constantly on my list of top sellers when I had my web store open. Now, four years later, I am vindicated...Hot Topic is carrying the Sad Kitty button! Huzzah!

Three things I love this week:

1. Carisa From Top Design

Sure, she'll probably lose in the final round to golden-boy Matt, but if I had the dough for an interior decorator, I'd hire her in a second.

2. Teddy Bear Chair Attack!

A design company has created a version of Hans Wegner's classic Teddy Bear chair upholstered in real bear fur. While I'm not sure how I feel about a bear fur chair, the narrative promo photos are hilarious.

3. The Omnivore's Dillemma

I haven't read a book this can't-put-it-down since the last Harry Potter, and this one doesn't even have evil wizards!
